Korean Cuisine restaurant is less than a 5-minute walk from Shin-Okubo Station, heading east on Okubo-dori and entering the alley on the left past Pachinko Grandpa. First visit before 12:00 on a weekday. When you walk in, the interior, including the tables and chairs, has a somewhat gorgeous and stylish atmosphere. It is divided between the entrance and the middle back, and you will be guided to a seat in a large space at the back. There were also one or two other people having a party. The lunch menu is available from 11:00 to 16:00, and includes hotpot dishes such as desi (pork soup), jjigae, bibimbap, and solongtang, Cold Noodles, spicy Ramen, kimbap, and rice bowls such as bulgogi. This time, I was interested in octopus, so I decided on the ``Stir-Fried Octopus Bowl'' for 980 yen. The three side dishes started with fried fish cakes, bean sprouts, and kimchi-flavored dried daikon radish. After about 10 minutes of waiting, I was served a bowl of rice and a cloudy, salty soup. It's not a bowl, but rather a plate full of bright red fried food and rice, with the octopus clearly visible. When I tried it, the spiciness of it being stir-fried with cabbage and other vegetables made me sweat. The octopus has a chewy texture and is delicious, and there's a fair amount of it in it, so it feels like you've eaten it. It was a bowl with perfect volume. Payment is cash only. The staff seemed to be busy answering the phone and manning the hall, and it would be difficult to respond if it got crowded. I think I'll try the gimbap and spicy Ramen next time.
