2日続けての大久保通い
JR大久保駅改札を出た通り向かいの正面にあるインネパ料理店です。
いつも目にしていたのですが、何となく敬遠していて今回初訪問。入口看板が派手で目立つものの、ケバブのお店と混同しがちで、カレーランチ600円って安いんですが、美味しくないのではと勝手に遠ざけていたんですね。それにダルバートが1000円と、この周辺ではかなり強気な価格設定ということもあります。でも食べログで「大久保 ネパール」と検索すると評価ランキング13位！12位までは訪問済みなので、では次の13位にという実に簡単な理由。でもこの店も正解でした。
ダルバートかカレーランチか？悩みながら12時ごろに到着。お一人様の先客が3名。奥角のテーブルに座ります。ということでダルバートはほかでもよく食べられるし高くて美味しいのは当たり前かと考え直し、安いカレーランチにしました。本日のカレー、①チキンとマッシュルームカレー、②チキンとカブのカレー、そして③定番チキンカレーの3種から選べます。まああまりないのでチキンとカブのカレーランチをライスでお願いしました。辛さは5段階で選べるので、５の激辛!!
他の方は単品のカレーランチではなく、ドリンクもついてくるセットを注文している人が多いですね。仕切りのある大きなトレーにカレーとサラダとナンなどがのってきます。私が頼んだカレーランチはライスの皿とカレー用のボウル食器の別盛り。ライスもカレーも量が多いので腹いっぱいになります。
カレーには大きめカットの鶏肉が3つとそれより小さめのカブが4つ入っていて、カレースープは野菜が溶け込んだような粘度があって美味しそうです。激辛にしましたが見た目は赤くなくて脂もそれほど浮いていません。チリで辛味アップしたと思うのですが一口食べてもチリだけ目立つことがないバランスよさがあって、意外と美味い！って失礼ですが、結構美味しいですよ。チキンは簡単に解せるほど火が通っていて味も染み込みしっとりしている。カブはこちらも煮込まれているので着色も強く美味しいカレーの具になっています。チキンカレー、美味しい!! カレーの量がそこそこ多い。
このレベルは全く期待していなかったのですが良かった。レベル5の激辛は結構辛くて想像以上。それでも自分の辛さ耐性の上限よりは手前なので最後は汗をかきながらもそして「美味いなあ」との感想にて完食。
ライスも多いので多少ライスが残りますが、この美味しさでこの量のカレーライスって、学食並みのコスパの良さ。特にドリンクなど必要でないなら、遠慮なく一番安いカレーランチを注文するのがよさそうです。
店に下りていく階段の壁には色紙と芸能人の訪問写真が何枚も貼られています。これも以外。結構古くからある人気店なんですね。今度来た時は1000円の高級ダルバートを頂きますかね。
