JR山手線 新大久保駅の改札を出て左、新宿寄りに線路沿いを歩いて5分ほどで、突き当たったところにある街中華のお店。
この辺りでは珍しい日本らしいお店。平日のランチタイムに初訪問。店内は入るとまずカウンター席が、奥に行くとテーブル席と靴を脱ぐお座敷席がある。
店に入った瞬間に煙で目が、設備は年季が入っており昭和のノスタルジック感あり。席に灰皿あったから、ランチでも全面喫煙可能なよう。
平日の昼どきだったこともあり、お客さんかなり入っていた。席に着きメニューを眺める。ラーメン580円、チャーハン600円から麺類や定食、餃子など選択肢はかなり多い。
今回はサービスセットの「味噌ラーメン・半カレーセット 750円」にする。日替定食は酢豚だった。待つことは15分ほど。
おじいちゃんが味噌ラーメンを、続けておばあちゃんが半カレーを持ってきてくれた。カレーは家庭で作る中辛な感じでお肉もちゃんと入っている。
味噌ラーメンは太めの麺に味噌スープもしっかりした味付けで、合わせて750円ならサービスセットの名の通りかなりお得。
場末な感じの雰囲気も悪くないし、メニューも豊富なのでまた来てみよう。お支払いは現金のみ。
