新大久保駅を出て左の新宿寄りの通りを南下して1,2分のところにある「タンドールダイニング ニムト」。ガチ中華やアジアン的なお店が立ち並ぶ異国的な場所にある。
1階がタイ料理店の2階にある。階段で2階に上がると入口で、店内は2〜6人掛けのテーブル席が7,8卓ある。アジアンな独特のお香の香りがする。
メニューはランチ・ディナーセットが大きくカレーを中心としたインド系、ダルやロティ、タカリ、ディドなどのネパール系に分かれている。カレーはサグチキン、チキン、キーマ、ベジタブルから選べる。
カレー1種類のシンプルなAセットが780円から、チーズナンやバターチキンのセットは980円。今回はカレー2種類のBセットにする。

他のお客さんは外国の方が数名。先にサラダとドリンクが来て、その後10分ほどでカレーの提供あり。ナンに加えてライスも両方付いてくる。見た目にまずナンがデカい。
さっそく食べてみる、ナンはフカフカで甘みはさほど無い。カレーはチキンの方は鶏肉がゴロゴロたくさん入っていて柔らかくて美味しい、キーマも粗めのひき肉がたっぷりと入り、どちらも辛さそこそこでナンがすすむ。
ライスはタイ米でしっとり、ナンライスおかわり自由だが、おかわりせずとも十分なボリュームだった。お値段以上の美味しいカレーだった。お支払いにはPayPayが使える。
