池袋、うどんと名店かるかや。
池袋でうどんを探すと武蔵野うどんのうちたてやが有名だが、あの太くて硬いうどんは好き嫌いが別れる所だろうからオーソドックスなうどんをという所で池袋西武のテラスに入っているかるかやへ。
毎日西武の地下で手打ちで作るこだわりの麺らしく、手打ちならでわの不揃い感が風情をかもしだす。
うどんのお揚げがとにかく好きなので屋号のついたかるかやうどんを。
麺はツルシコ。
こだわってるうどん屋の麺はそりゃ美味い。
ただ、そばと一緒でうどんの麺の細かな違いがわからない俺には猫に小判、豚に真珠感は否めない。
出汁は繊細で優しく上品。
悪く言えば薄い。
俺には物足りないなって一口目で思ったがここから不思議。
食べ進めるうちにだんだん身体がそれに合っていき、最後にはちゃんと満足感が生まれた。
毎日食べれて身体に良さそうで身体が欲する味、そう思った。
今チーム戦の罰ゲームで香川に行ってる従業員達のうどんの投稿もあいまって自分の中でうどんブームが来ている。
ただ、うどんで衝撃を受けた日本一のがもうに匹敵するうどんはあるのだろうか。
しばらく食べ比べてみようと思う。
