I went to Chikyu Hanten, which is located near the west exit of Ikebukuro. This store is located in a back alley, so it may be hard to find at first glance. Take the elevator up to the 3rd time. The inside of the restaurant is quite large and can probably seat 50 to 60 people. They have a great lunch menu on weekdays, and I went for the fried levanilla lunch (880 yen). Lunch includes a main dish, rice, soup, pickled vegetables, and dessert. Levanilla is served hot, soft and very delicious. The rice goes well with just the right amount of flavor. The soup is made with chicken bones and is light. The ingredient was tofu. The dessert came with coffee jelly, and it was a very satisfying lunch.
