Delicious, affordable and cozy!! Izakaya (Japanese-style bar)-run izakaya with a wide variety of menu items that you'll want to visit every day
Conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from the Ikebukuro East Exit, we open from 3pm! In our bright, lively and cozy restaurant, you can enjoy fresh fish delivered directly from Tsukiji and sake f |
This is where I stopped off after work! Ikebaru, which I went to last week, is also run by Seiryu, and they have quite a few restaurant in Ikebukuro. First of all, I'm grateful that last order is at 10:30pm! Many of the nearby restaurants close at 10pm. The menu is varied, with Japanese, Western and Chinese dishes. It has a traditional Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) feel, and it's been a while since I've been to one like this. There are no photos of it, but they also had lamb chops for 580 yen each, and the food was delicious. Even though it's a sake Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) izakaya, we went for the usual toast of beer followed by a bottle of wine (1,500 yen)! I think I'll be coming here often from now on...
