麻雀を終えて懐かしの池袋西口方面を散策。結構お店が入れ替わったり、ずっとある店舗も結構あるなーと話しながら、朝5時まで働いていた頃に夜勤明けでよく行っていた玉金さんに久々の訪問でした。
乾ききった喉を潤わすべくプレミアムモルツ香るエールで乾杯。全身に染み渡る旨味、もう言うことないです。と冗談を言いつつ、お通しのお代わり自由のキャベツをつまみつつ、オーダーはいつものように友人に適当に任せます。
・ささみ塩たたき胡瓜
毎回頼む安定の即菜。塩ダレと胡瓜に柔らかい鶏ささみが抜群に合いますね。
・手羽先の唐揚げ
タレで注文、スパイシーな本格派でびっくり。熱々でカリカリに揚げられた手羽先で身もしっかり大きく旨味をダイレクトに味わえる1品でした。お代わりしたかった。
・ホルモンの紅しょうが天
変わり種っぽいですが意外に王道な美味さで、ホルモンこ脂も変にくどさを出すこともなく、普通に火入れされた状態で噛むほどに美味しさが感じられました。にまぶされた紅しょうがも少し効いていることもあってさっぱり感も少しあります。
・チーズちくわの磯辺揚げ
熱々で青のりの香りがしっかりあり、ちくわも肉厚で良いものを使ってるのが伺えました。いい塩梅の味付けで食べやすかったです。
・えんがわチャンジャ
卵黄を崩してピリ辛で食感も良く美味しかったです。
・紅しょうがの串揚げ
串揚げといえばやはり紅しょうがでしょう。サクサクに揚がった衣にソースを程よく掛け、1口噛むと紅しょうがの酸味と辛味が最高でした。
・名古屋コーチンのレバ刺し
低温調理かな、かなりしっとりジューシーなレバーで旨味も強い強い。言うまでもないですが、ごま油とニンニクを合わせればもう優勝間違いない1品でした。
▼串焼き盛り合わせ
チラシを持っていたので1人当たり10円でした！
・ネギマ
ふっくらじっくり遠火で火入れされてプリプリの焼き加減のモモ肉とネギ、結構大ぶりなのでお腹にたまりました。
・砂肝
ちょっとしょっぱかったかな、ただ食感は安定の砂肝でした。
・ナス
霜降り感のすごい水分飽和状態の最高の仕上がりでした。友人がMVPというくらい確かに美味しかったです。
・ししとう
辛いタイプに当たりました。唐辛子超えでしたね。。
・ぼんじり
ジューシーで脂食べてるって感じがいいですよね。
・タコの唐揚げ
こちらも安定のやつですね。プリプリ大ぶりで良かったです。
街と同じくメニューも残っているものと変わったものとあり、安定のお美味しさというかもはや雰囲気ですね。18時過ぎの入店時は3割程度でしたが19時半くらいには結構な盛況っぷりでーはさすが愛されるお店。またお伺いしたいと思います。ご馳走さまでした。
