仕事の合間にソロランチ。東池袋駅至近の蕎麦処。
通りの向かいにある大勝軒さんを目指して信号待ちをしてる時にたまたま当店の暖簾がに入り、HPを見てみると大正13年の創業当時以来の製法を継承し長く当地で愛されている街のお蕎麦屋さん、と。
衝動時に蕎麦が食いたくなりお邪魔。
13時過ぎに入店。
新しめの店内はカウンター4席、2人掛けテーブル5卓、4人掛けテーブル2卓、相席用の大きなテーブル6席でキャパ30席ほどで、この時間の入りは7割程度。
カウンター席につき天もりをオーダー。
モダンな内装と差し込む陽光はまるでお蕎麦屋さんのそれとは異なり特徴的。もっとも、BGMにはスーパーで耳にするようなJ-Popのインストが軽快に流れていてなんだか落ち着かない。
10分ほど着丼。
当方の馬鹿舌のせいか香りはあまり感じられなかったが、キンキンに冷えていたからか引き締まった麺のしこしこ食感と喉越しを楽しめた。
天ぷらは海老、ししとう、レンコン、ナス。素材は良いのだろうが粉の主張が強く、少し重く感じた。
蕎麦自体は美味しいので雰囲気づくりとCPの面でもうひと声頑張っていただけると、リピしたいお店群に入ってくると思うのだが。
