池袋駅西口より歩く事数分、トキワ通り沿いにある居酒屋「とん長」。
11月下旬の夜に初めて訪れました。
先ずは検温を済ませて店内へ。
店内はカウンター席とテーブル席が全32席と広々。私はカウンター席へと通されました。
こちら全席禁煙ですが、卓上にマッチが置かれているのが面白いですね (^^)
先ずは「生ビール ハートランド ジョッキ」(550円)片手に卓上のメニューを拝見。
おつまみメニューは焼きとんや焼き鳥以外の単品メニューも充実しており、
どれも自分好みな旨そうなメニューばかりで目移りしてどれにしようか
大分迷いましたが
この日は
「もつ煮込み」(600円)
「トロレバー(網アブラ巻)」(230円)
「上タン特製ネギたれ串」(230円)
「かしら」(100円)
「たん」(100円)
「なんこつ」(100円)
を注文しました。
先ずはもつ煮込みが登場です。値段的にはややお高めかな？と思いましたが
結構ボリュームがあって納得です。濃いめな味付けと柔らかなもつはお酒が
加速する美味しさです♪ビールがあっという間に空いて
「酎ハイ メガ(1ﾘｯﾄﾙ)」(1000円)
を注文しました。
自分は呑むペースが速いのでメガジョッキがあるお店では必ずメガを頼んじゃいます(^^)
スッキリ後味の酎ハイはどんな居酒屋メニューにも合うので大好きですね。
程なく串物が続々上がってまいりました。
どれもお値段リーズナブルな割に美味しく、これまたグイグイ酎ハイが進みました。
最後に本日のお薦めメニューから「うずら串焼き」をいただいて、さてお勘定しようかな、
と思ったと同時に「トロレバー(網アブラ巻)」が出てきました。ハハッ、色々頼み過ぎて
自分で何を頼んだか忘れてました (^-^; トロレバーは絶妙な火加減で焼き上げるので
時間がかかるようです。大体45分かかりましたね。その分とても旨かったです。
この日はこれにてお勘定。
