As someone from Shanghai, China, if I were to recommend baked Xiaolongbao in Japan, it would definitely be here! It's a small shop just a minute's walk from the west exit of Ikebukuro. There are about six counter seats for eat-in. Most people takeaway! Even if you line up, there are only 3-4 people, so you don't have to wait that long. Baked Xiaolongbao are 550 yen for four pieces and 780 yen for six pieces. Glutinous rice shumai are 460 yen for four pieces and 680 yen for six pieces. Meat mooncakes are 600 yen for two pieces and 1,200 yen for four pieces! All three are really delicious and highly recommended! The baked Xiaolongbao are full of soup and meat, and the skin is crispy and fluffy. The meat mooncakes are stuffed with meat and are very delicious. I haven't tried the glutinous rice shumai at this shop yet, so I'll try it someday!
