夕食前のおやつに池袋にある「永祥生煎館」さんを訪問。サクッと「４個入りの焼き小籠包」と「青島ビール」を注文し、カウンターで食べる。こちらテークアウトが主流だが、5席程のカウンター席がある小さなお店。
人生で初めて焼き小籠包を食べたのがこちらの永祥さん。皮の下の部分はカリッと焼かれており、上の部分に箸を入れるとスープがジュワーと出てくる旨いヤツ。熱々なので火傷に気を付けて食べる一方、青島ビールで流し込む。これ、嬉しい大人のおやつ。
所狭しと店員さんが4-5人キッチンにおり、全員が中国系の方達。そしてお客さんもたまたまではあるが、この日は全員中国系でアウェイ感は否めない。だけど焼き小籠包といえばこちらのお店が一番好きで通ってしまう。再訪がまた楽しみである。
