Wandering around the city after eating Sushi in Ikebukuro. While I was wandering around, I got a little hungry, so I decided to finish off my meal by visiting Kintaro. The store had a counter and a tatami room in the back. There were only two of us, but we were led to a room in the back. It's been a long time since I've been to a tatami room that isn't a horigotatsu, so I stretched out my legs and relaxed, even though my legs and back were a little sore. Since it was my second time there, I decided that I couldn't eat much, so I ordered kimchi and the specialty Seafood Kintaro-yaki. Kintaro-yaki arrived while I was drinking a highball with kimchi and appetizers. When you eat it right away, it's so fluffy! I like Osaka-style Okonomiyaki, so it has a texture that is hard to find in the Kanto region. The reviews on certain review sites were true. I was happy to be able to finish off my meal with the highly satisfying Okonomiyaki. The counter was crowded with regulars, but even though we were just seeing them, we were treated with politeness and the atmosphere was very comfortable. By the way, smoking is allowed in this restaurant, so if you don't like that, I think you should refrain from visiting.
