銀座、名古屋に続き、5店舗目となりますが百貨店への出店は初！ |
仕事の合間に集団ランチ。池袋駅東口直結、西武池袋本店8Fに入居するイタリアンレストラン。テレビでお馴染みの巨匠・落合シェフの料理をカジュアルな雰囲気でいただくことができる人気店。
この日は期末の打ち上げランチ。1週間前にコース予約（1人4000円）のうえ、とある金曜日11:00にお邪魔。
店内は平場の4人掛けテーブル席を中心とした構成。他のレビュアーさんも仰っておられる通りファミレスっぽいイキフンだが、肩肘張らない気軽さは逆に使い勝手の良さを感じさせる。ど平日ながら予約で満席。客層はマダム中心。
オーダーは予めコース予約済。以下提供順に。
◆前菜7種
キノコのマリネ、新玉葱の冷製スープ、ズッキーニのイタリアンオムレツ、イタリアンハム、生ハム、ブロッコリーのアーリオオーリオ、カポナータ。前菜だけにインパクトはないがメインへの期待感を抱かせる味わい。
◆パスタ（50g）
左上の法則に従い定番のウニのクリームソースパスタをチョイス。クセのないウニの甘さが濃厚に息づくまったりソースは思わず溜息の出る旨さ。残ったソースもフォカッチャにつけて美味しくいただく。至福の味。
◆メイン
秀味豚のグリルをチョイス。俯瞰すると小さく見えるが厚さ2cmほどあろうかという厚切りで食べ応え十分。表面パリパリかーらーの中柔らかジューシーな仕上がり。ボリューミーながらデフォルトの塩気に添えられたレモンをひと搾り加えてさっぱりといただける。
◆デザート・ドリンク
カスタードプリンとアイスラテを選択。プリンはやや硬めで好みな感じ。満腹。
本音はウニのパスタだけ単品オーダーでたくさん食べたいところだが、人気すぎて予約しないと入店できない、予約の場合はコースオーダー必須というシステム。たまにランチで贅沢したくなったら、また是非お邪魔したい。
