Just a 5-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station! Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) is super cheap, delicious, and will fill you up. It's also great for parties!
[Ikebukuro] Highballs and chuhai for just 190 yen! "Izakaya Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) no Hoshi" offers Burmese cuisine and is full of hope |
I checked online and found that the drinks were very cheap and the food was Burmese, so I made a reservation. ■Drinks A small bottle of beer was 500 yen + tax, so it's not cheap by any means. The only thing I ordered was a cheap chuhai at 190 yen + tax. It seems that it was very cheap in the past, and some of the menu items have gone up in price. ■Appetizer It was a deep-fried tofu dish with tomato sauce. The Burmese dishes of keema deep-fried tofu and masala omelette that I had planned to order in advance were no longer on the menu. So I ate the following dishes. ■Myanmar-flavored Grilled skewer I ate three types of skewers: momo, pork skirt steak, and potato. They were topped with a spicy spice. Considering that each skewer costs 150 to 200 yen, I think the portions are a little small. ■Samosa Potatoes, minced meat, green peas, etc. were wrapped in rice paper and fried. It was freshly fried, crispy, and delicious. It seems that the number of Burmese dishes on the menu has decreased, and the price of alcohol has also increased, so I wonder if it's not as appealing as it used to be.
