池袋で仕事のついでに訪問。
以前は高速高架下にありましたが裏に移転したようで。ちなみに前の場所はインドパキスタン料理店が新たにオープンしていたのでお間違えなく…
エー・ラージさんは南インドです。
ピッタリ開店時間に入れました。私含め次々とおひとり様カレー中毒系のお客様が続く。
一気に満席になりましたが、お店はまさかのワンオペ！！インド人風のおじさまが1人で調理から配膳までこなす。最初は心配になったけど仕込みをしっかりされているようでアタフタした感じはなく、何とかなっている。余計な心配でした(^^;;
さて配膳。こちらのミールスはサンバルとチャツネは無いタイプ。でもカレーが6種！豪華です。
まずは野菜系カレー
小さい豆のカレーとクリーミーなベジカレー、大豆カレーは煮干し的な干し魚入りで新しい発見
肉カレーはチキンとマトン
チキンの方はシナモンが効いていて鼻を抜ける マトンはまるで角煮のように煮込まれていて余計な臭みもなくジューシー
大満足なミールスでした！
店内はミールス派とビリヤニ派に分かれてる模様。
次回はビリヤニかな。
ところで自分だけかもだけどミールスってたくさん食べてももたれないしむしろ体調も快適。余計な油が無いのと、スパイス＝漢方だからですかね。まさに医食同源。
