カレー好き同僚Mっちのオススメのインド料理店だったので東池袋に降りたった時に立ち寄ってみました。
大通りの裏手にぽつんとあり、なかなか入りずらかったのですが意を決してドアを開けてみました。インド人に「はい、そこ」と指定された席に座りメニューを眺めます。
インド映画「踊るマハラジャ」並にずっと踊っているインドの映像が流れていて思わず見入ってしまいました(^^;;

カレー1種、ナンとライス、サラダ、インドの漬物
カレーはチキンほうれん草があまり辛くないと言われたのでそちらをセレクトします。ほうれん草のカレーは味がばらけていて何とも微妙… チキンも大き目サイズですが、滑っとした小学校の給食のチキンを思い出してしまい苦手だった記憶が呼び戻されてしまいました（( ；∀；)
やっぱりインド料理は得意ではないことを再認識しました。ごめんなさいね。ちなみにミールスがおススメらしいです。
お店の方お一人でホールとキッチンを移動しながら作業なさっているのですが、火をつけっぱなしでホールにいるので気が気じゃなかったです。インドではこれくらい強くないと生存競争に勝ち抜けないのでしょうね。火事にならないように気を付けてくださいね。
