平日の夜に夫婦2人で訪問。
お店は池袋駅からまあまあ歩くので、時間に余裕をもって行きましょう。
18時10分、到着。先客2組。
店内にはプロレス・相撲の写真やグッズが飾られており、店主さんがファンなのですかね。
初訪問かつ2人だったので第一陣は無難に高橋セット(生ラム300g)と特上タン塩を注文。
他は写真はありませんがアテ系のサイドメニューを2品ほど。
お肉は注文が入ってからマスターが丁寧に手切りするので少しだけ待ちます。
ありきたりな表現で恐縮ですが、全く臭みがなく柔らかく、とても美味しい。
噛めばちゃんと旨味が出てきます。
特上タン塩は厚切りでブリンとした歯応え。
牛・豚のタンとも少し違い、これはこれで美味しい。
まだお腹に余裕があったので、追加肉100gを追加。
最後まで生ラムの美味しさに飽きることなくいただきました。
生ラム肉は文句無しの美味しさでしたが、呑兵衛的には正直お酒のコスパは良くないですね。
生ビール(738円)は北海道から仕入れるコストで高くなってしまうのかもしれませんが、ハイボール(548円)はチェーン店の居酒屋ぐらい薄いので飲んだ気にならず何杯も頼んでしまう羽目に。
お酒を飲まない方・少ししか飲まない方はリーズナブルに美味しい生ラム肉を楽しめると思います。
ちなみにマスターは初見だとイカつく見えますが、実際には優しい方なので御安心を。
