池袋西口駅前にある居酒屋。もう緊急事態宣言は解除されたが、宣言中も遅くまで営業していたようだ。
駅チカという事もあり、店内は常に満席状態。タイミングよく入れたものの、後から来た人は追い返されていた。
私たちは地下に降りる階段の近くの席に通されたのだが、かなり寒い！奥の席に座れればラッキーだろう。
そして値段を見てびっくり。正直、お酒も料理も高い。
お酒は平均500～550円。ハイボールですら500円越えだ。瓶ビールが一番お得かもしれない。
串揚げも安いものは140円とかだが、お肉や魚の類は1本400円ぐらいのものもあった。
高級店ならいざ知れず、大衆店にしては強気なお値段だ。
今回は友人の希望でササミ梅しそ(180円)と、おまかせ串5種盛(800円)を注文。
提供された串揚げは悪いものではなかったが、この値段だと少しコスパが悪く感じた。
5種盛りは定番のチョリソーやイカ、牛肉(?)等で、可もなく不可もなく。
ソースはボトルを押してかける形で、どうせならソースを浸ける形のがよかったなと思った。
一品料理で頼んだかぼちゃチーズ焼きは500円だが結構ボリュームもあり悪くなかった。
駅チカという立地で勝負しているような店で、わざわざ、この店を選んで入る必要はないと感じた。
また串よりは一品料理のが美味しく、コスパも良いと思った。どうしても入る店がない…という時には使えるかもしれない。
