会社の健康診断でシリンジ3本分くらいの血を抜かれたので手っ取り早く肉でスタミナ補充するべく駆け込んだのがこちらのお店のステーキランチ。
まあ健康診断に関わりなく、どうしてもステーキが食べたくなる日があるので気軽に駆け込める鉄板焼きステーキのお店を常時確保しており、こちらもその一軒です。お願いしたのは
・「イチボ&サーロインステーキランチ(サラダ、ライス、味噌汁付き) 3,850円」
働き出して自分のお金で自由に外食が出来るようになり、何が嬉しかったかと言って目の前で焼いていただく鉄板焼きステーキを「年1とかの特別」じゃない日にも食べられるようになったことでしょうか。
今はなき大塚の「あ可ね」さんや大阪転勤時代の北新地「ニューオークラ」さんは自分の稼ぎで初めて通い倒した鉄板焼きステーキのお店たちで、お給料が出るとまるるっと肉に貢いだものでした。
おかげ様で悪徳ホストにも投資詐欺にも引っかかることなくすくすく無事に大人になれたのかもしれません。そんな私の成長の軌跡とは何の関係もなく、淡々と肉を焼いてくださる「あさひ」のお兄さんがた。
こちらのお店はランチでお邪魔するにはやや内装や従業員の皆さまの所作が夜っぽい感じなのですが(入り口から急に店内真っ暗で転びそうになりがち…)、10人くらい並んで座れるすごく立派な鉄板があってワクワクします。
お値段の割に良いお肉を、シェフとお呼びするには少し若めなお兄さんが意外にも的確な技術でテキパキと焼いてくださいますので、自分の肉が仕上がっていく様をうっとり眺めながら待てます。
一番安いセットですがサーロインとイチボを100gずつと量も充分。イチボは若干硬くてスジっぽいところもありましたがサーロインは溶けるような脂身でたいへん美味しかったです。
焼き方は最初ジュージューと鉄板焼きした後、鉄板の上に蒸籠のようなものを敷いて直接熱が当たらないように育てる仕様。さらに上からドームを被せ蒸し焼き？に近い技法で丁寧にミディアムレアに焼き上げてくださいました。最後は炎のフランベで派手に表面を焼いて仕上げ。
正直、このフランベは単なる演出のような気もしますが、女ひとりランチ客にもちゃんと手を抜かずに盛り上げ演出の鉄板炎芸をやってくださるのはなんだか申し訳なくもありがたいことです。おかげでシャキッと元気が出ました。
