Cheap chicken cutlet set meal has a comforting home-cooked taste
For lunch, I often have the chicken cutlet set meal from Taishoku Cafeterias. I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that it's extremely cheap if it costs 600 yen. Of course, it comes with shredded cabbage, pickles, miso soup, and white rice, but it's nice that it also comes with furikake. The sauce on the chicken cutlet was very delicious, and the subtle sourness and sweetness matched well with the crispy coating of the chicken cutlet, which went well with the rice. Moreover, it is a straightforward dish that does not go beyond a simple chicken cutlet set meal and is not poorly created. I feel the comfort of home-cooked meals, and I can't help but come back again. I think I'll visit you once a week.

大衆食堂かぶら屋 さんはのランチは、チキンカツ定食が税込み600円などとなっており、かなりコスパがよくて美味しいのであります。
私もランチに何度も利用させていただいているのであります。
そんななか、どうしても気になっていたのが「金賞唐揚げ定食 税込み8５８円」
チキンカツ定食よりは少し高めなのですが、金賞というからには一度は食べてみないといけない。
そこで、今回は金賞唐揚げ定食とオーダーしたのであります。
キャベツ、味噌汁、ごはん、ふりかけがついてくるのは、チキンカツ定食と同じです。
しかし、この唐揚げが、なかなか美味しいのであります。
多少濃い目の味付けではありますが、カラッと揚げられて、中には意外と肉が詰まっている感があり、ほんとうにご飯がよく進みます。
とくに何か新しい味付けや創作はありませんが、素朴な正統派の美味しい唐揚げという感じで、すごく安心感があります。
さすがは金賞というだけありますね。
また唐揚げが食べたくなったらオーダーする予定です。
