Meat kappou and Creative Cuisine restaurant "Niku kappou hikari" in Ikebukuro, Japan. Creative Cuisine restaurant with meat kappou as its main feature is the right expression(?). A fashionable restaurant in Ikebukuro. Many interesting and delicious Creative Cuisine dishes that I have never seen anywhere else are served here, and it looks very nice to use for special occasions such as anniversaries! I felt that not only the taste of each dish, but also the story behind the creation of the dish and the special atmosphere were wonderful! Especially, the chawanmushi with yuba, crab, aonori (green laver), and Bubble tea is quite impressive. Aonori and yuba go very well together, and the crab flavor comes out in places. Above all, it is my first experience to have Bubble tea in chawanmushi, but it goes very well with it! The broth of the chawanmushi matched the texture of the Bubble tea and it was delicious. Sukiyaki The "Mere Old Man" uses a yolk brand called Maximum, and they keep feeding the chickens paprika, which is said to produce eggs with high nutritional value and thick yolks. The eggs cost about three times as much as regular eggs because of the feed and labor involved. The eggs are also filled with Bianchette truffles, also known as spring truffles, which are rare and only available for a short period of time in early spring and harvested in limited regions! The Danish sandwich was a combination of roast beef, pickles, and mascarpone cheese, and was sure to be a favorite among the ladies. The pie crust of Ezo deer and foie gras looked very stylish and was served with the Madera sauce used at French cuisine. The main course of chateaubriand and sirloin was delicious with three different flavors: - soy sauce with green onions, fresh black pepper from Cambodia (dried and salted in the restaurant), and Italian salsfiore (a special salt offered to the Pope) and pepper! The homemade vanilla ice cream was delicious, served with raspberry sauce, kiwi sauce, and a dekopon on top! As a sake lover, I thought it was very cosy to be able to drink Hakushu, Yamazaki, Hibiki, etc. for about 1,000 yen in a restaurant with this kind of atmosphere. The restaurant also offers Minty's with the name of the restaurant on it as a souvenir. Season's recommended course: Seafood parfait with seasonal vegetables and truffle sauce, Wagyu beef tartar and caviar, Wagyu beef steamed egg custard, grilled eel with sirloin and truffle on bianchette, Wagyu beef ichibo Danish sandwich, Yezo deer and foie gras in pie wrapper, Chateaubriand and sirloin from Shimane Prefecture, and a beef sirloin in a sauce of "Sauce" and "Beef".
