池袋西一番街を抜けて、一際目立つLED看板。
仕事終わりの打合せを兼ねて同僚ふたりと早めの来店。
入店すると、アジア感満載の店内に、ピンクなTシャツを着衣され、(良い意味で)天然系のお姉様が6名席に案内された。時間の流れが明らかに違う。日々の喧騒から解き放たれたようでありがたい。
予め食べログで予習していたが、狙いはハッピーアワーとルーレット。
まずはハッピーアワーのハイネケンをオーダーし、食べ物をオーダー。
ソムタム〜青パパイヤサラダ(610円)
これ大好きなのである。シンプルながらさり気ない塩味で食が進むが、食べた後も持続する辛さ。
ルンダン〜インドネシア牛煮込み (550円)
思っていたより小さい。ココナッツも入っているのか少し甘めのテイストだが、柔らかく煮込まれていて、これはこれでありである。
このあたりで早々にルーレットに移行する。
撮れ高の高いバケツに見事当選！
バケツハイボール (1,045円)
量的にメガハイボール3杯分くらいだろうか。
でも氷が圧倒的に少ない分、お得感満載であった。
クルクルサテー 6本 (580円)
ウェブでの注文票に、一本と複数本での値段が違うため、6本で発注したらめっちゃ安い。
なぜクルクルか、それは串を挟んだ自動加工装置がクルクルするからさ。アジア系のお兄さんが丁寧にセットされていた。味はまぁね。
つくねサテー 3本(594円)
身は小さいが、しっかりと焼いてありなかなか旨味のあるつくね。ネーミングもナイスゥ。
鶏ももサテー 3本(495円)
もう何でもサテーって付けたら良いよね。
焼鳥と比べてはいけない。これはこれでありなのだから。
大海老サテー 3本 (616円)
やつがれは頭から尻尾まで全部いかせてもらった。エビは普通に美味い。コスパ良し。
揚げカオマンガイ (976円)
結構お腹いっぱい状態だったが、揚げ鶏は美味かった。
ジャスミンライスが残ったので、グリーンカレー単品を頼んだが、伝票が無くなったという理由で調理されておらず、残念ながらキャンセルとさせて頂いた。
西一番街に早飲み出来るお店は沢山あるが、ルーレット再勝負と心残りのグリーカレーを食すためにまた寄りたい。
