This is about a 1-minute walk from Exit C3 of Ikebukuro Station. (It takes about 7 minutes from the JR Yamanote Line exit.) I came to "Robata and Oden Koro Nagirai Ikebukuro branch"! While I was looking for a winter-friendly Izakaya (Japanese-style bar), I discovered this restaurant and visited it. At first I didn't know how to read the store's name, but apparently it's pronounced Koronagirai. This restaurant seems to offer all-you-can-eat oden for just 500 yen! Even on a weekday, it was very crowded, and I happened to find a seat available, so I was able to enter. This time, I will introduce some of the menu items I ordered. ○Snow and sea urchin gem nigiri It may look exciting, but it was very delicious with the flavor of the crab and the sweetness of the sea urchin! Personally, I highly recommend this shop! ○ Coho salmon with grated salmon roe A large amount of coho salmon topped with grated salmon roe. Eating salmon and salmon roe together is a truly luxurious bite. Alcohol goes on! Be careful not to add too much soy sauce as it is salted salmon ⚠ ○ Seared spring bonito It comes with julienned onions and bonito, garlic chips, and green onions. It was delicious and you could feel the unique aroma of first bonito! ○Red Hoppy Red Hoppy is rarely seen in Tokyo, but we found it at this store! I feel like it's easier to drink than white hoppy, and it was a happy menu for drinkers! There is also about half a glass of medium shochu, which is great value for money! ○Desserts Homemade baked pudding is mildly sweet and delicious! It's a perfect size to end the dish as it's easy to eat even in the middle. Three of us went this time and ended up eating way too much. All of the oden was delicious, and the radish, chikuwa, and shumai seemed to be very popular. My personal recommendation is the shumai!
