池袋グルメ界のカール・ハインツ・シュナイダーとも言われるレビューメーカーが、池袋西口に新しくできた居酒屋を訪問。
HUBや赤から、温野菜が入っているビルの5階。
行ってみると、新しいと言っても居抜きかリニューアルだった模様。とはいえ通してもらった個室はとても綺麗で、池袋西口公園、通称IWGPが一望できた。
野菜串を謳っているだけあって、串の種類がとても豊富。
メニューにあったら必ず頼むくらい好きなので、これは嬉しいし、全種類いってみた。
万能ネギ、ミニトマト、アスパラ、えのき、ブロッコリー、エリンギ。
さらに紫蘇チーズ、キムチチーズ、海老、うずら。
それとロールキャベツのようなビジュのレタス巻きを。
名物のとりとんたんロッシーニは、確か大根、つくね、豚バラ、卵、という構成だった気がする。おでんの人気メニューを丸ごと串でブッ刺したような、これをロッシーニと名付けているところ含めかなり斬新なメニュー。
最初ここに行きたいと言われた時に、できたばっかりだし食べログも◯ばっかりだし予約しなくても余裕だろうと思ったが、実際は賑わっていて飛び込みで断られている客も結構いたし、元々人気店だったのかも知れない。
お通しが300円ということに代表される通り、これだけ食べてお酒も飲んで2人で9,000円くらいと、価格はかなり良心的でした。
