平日ランチライムの来訪。通院している内科の近くにあり、以前は入れなったため再度トライしてみました。吉祥庵は都内6店舗ほどのFC展開をしているようで、ここ目白のお店の評価が一番高いようで、店の席数以上にお客さんが多く訪れます。
今回はお蕎麦と軽めの天ぷらを食べたかったのですが、写真付きメニューは飯ものと蕎麦のセットメニューが多く、普通のお蕎麦メニューを探すのに時間がかかりました。。ようやく基本メニューを見つけて「海老天もり」をオーダーしました。
10分ほどして料理が提供されました。見た目はキレイに盛り付けられていますね。蕎麦の盛り方、天ぷらの盛り付けも結構整然としています。
蕎麦はまずまずの質感があり、蕎麦汁も濃いめ、天ぷらは揚げ立てで衣も厚めなのですが。。蕎麦、蕎麦汁、天つゆ、蕎麦湯のどれも淡白な味付けで、私の鈍感な味覚では特に汁ものの旨味が希薄な感じがしました。お蕎麦も特に印象に残らず、天つゆに浸けるとあっさりと衣が剥がれてしまう天ぷらもあまり味わえず、もの足りなさが残るランチとなりました。
沢山の写真がある丼もの・飯ものの方が良かったのかもと思いました。セットメニューはCPやボリュームも良さそうなのでたくさん食べたい人に向いていそうでした。ごちそうさまでした。
