都電雑司ヶ谷停留所から東通りを池袋方面。
南池袋小学校近隣にあり住宅街にひっそりと佇む寿司処。
高級感がある店構え。
一瞬躊躇してしまいそうだが、店内に入ればアットホームな雰囲気がある。
今回は“江戸前にぎり寿司”の上を発注した。
此方は【小鉢、茶碗蒸し、お椀】が付く。
小鉢の【ホタルイカ】はプチっと口の中で弾けエキスが何とも言えない旨さがあり、【イカ大根】もまた煮詰まらずに良い味が出ていた。
“上”は巻物を含め9貫。
カウンターにある高台へお皿を置き次々と寿司が握られてくる。
何れも新鮮さがありとろける旨さ。
ヅケもまた甘味が口の中で充満してくる。
【ガリ】もまた良い塩梅であった。
ラスト2貫目から良いタイミングで“茶碗蒸し”が配膳されてきた。
熱々で旬の【タケノコ】が入っているのは何とも嬉しい。
大将も女将さんも気前良く接して戴いたことに敬意を表したい。
