目白駅から徒歩8分。目白通りのイタリアンは結構、新陳代謝が激しい中で今年の秋で13年を迎えるとのこと。入り口は全面ガラス張りになっていてとてもおしゃれ。カウンターがメインなので一人でも入りやすい。ボサノバがかかっていてほんわりモード。
ランチはパスタ+サラダ+パンが1200円、肉料理+サラダ+パンは1600円、前菜とドルチェ+カフェを付けると2200円。今回は2200円のコースを選択。
前菜は自家製ピクルス、ドライトマト、オムレツ、モルタデッラ(ボローニャソーセージ)の4種。ピクルスやドライトマトは上品な酸味が印象的。
パスタは二種から選べ今回は、小エビ、ズッキーニ、姫トマトのスパゲッティを選択。小エビは小ぶりながらもぷりぷりで食べごたえがありズッキーニやトマトからもうまみがよく出ておりバジルのほのかな香りもあり最後まで飽きさせません。
ドルチェはフランボワーズとチョコレートソースのチーズケーキ。酸味がキリリとしていてよいアクセントです。
全体的な印象としては、塩分、うまみ、ボリュームをガツンと出すというより、少し控えめにして全体のバランスをよく整え、上品に整頓されたなという印象をもちました。酸味やほのかなハーブの香りも上品で、店の雰囲気はカジュアルながらも料理の味は格式高い感じを受けました。駅から遠いのが若干難点ではありますが、目白あたりでは、かなり高レベル。わざわざ訪れても価値があるイタリアンだと思います
