高田馬場駅から戸山公園に向かう途中のオレンジコート内にあるカフェ、駅から行くと入口入ってすぐ、マルエツよりも手前にある。平日のランチタイムに訪問。一度3〜4年前にお茶しにワッフルを食べに来たことはあったがランチは初めて。
店内は右手にカウンター席と真ん中より左手にテーブル席が並ぶ。お客さんはサラリーマンとお買い物に来た年配の方が多い印象。11:00〜お食事のランチメニューがあり、パスタやホットサンド、トーストのセットがある。
今回は「本日のパスタセット(ミートソース) 900円」にする。ドリンク付きなのでアイスコーヒーにする。セットドリンクは紅茶の種類がかなり多い。結構ゆったーりとした時間が流れている。待つこと10分ほどで提供あり。
パスタ麺にミートソースが乗るのではなく、ボロネーゼのように和えられた感じの見ため。さっそく食べてみる、麺の太さは普通、硬さも普通、量も普通。食べやすくペロリといけちゃうパスタだった。
アイスコーヒーは水出しっぽくスッキリとした飲みあたりだった。お支払いは現金のみ。ワッフルとかケーキも自家製スゥイーツも充実しているので、カフェ利用しにまた来よう。
