高田馬場駅の戸山口から近く高田馬場駅通り沿いにあるイタリアンレストラン「アンジェロ」。一階には神戸焼肉 金虎があり、手前の階段を降りた奥に入口がある。平日のお昼前に初訪問。
店内は落ち着いたイタリアンのお店な雰囲気で、ちょうど12時を回った時間だったが、席はほぼ埋まっており女性客が多い。ワイン片手にランチなんて優雅な人たちもいた。
ランチのメニューはパスタランチ(¥1,210)から、スペシャルパスタランチ(¥1,760)だとサラダが前菜3種盛合せとサラダになる。シェフおすすめランチ(¥2,200)は肉または魚料理が付く。
プラス¥400でお好きなドルチェは、頼まなかったけど、ティラミスなど3種類。店名を冠したアンジェロランチ(¥3,630)だと肉料理、魚料理ともについて、さらにドルチェも付く。今回はパスタランチにする。

自家製フォカッチャ、コーヒー
パスタは7種類、リゾットは2種類から選べる。パスタの「豚挽き肉とくるみのジェノベーゼ(リングイーネ)」にする。
サラダはアンチョビのドレッシング。フォカッチャはフカフカではなく重めな感じ。パスタは緑がかっていて、豚挽き肉とくるみという変わった取り合わせで不思議な味付けだった。物足りないかなと思ったが、そこそこなボリュームだった。
