Visited around 12:10 noon on Tuesday, December 12, 2023. The store is located on the basement floor of Sakae-dori, a restaurant street that is a 2-minute walk from Takadanobaba Station on each line. Entering and exiting the store required going up and down stairs, and it was not barrier-free. The store's data just before I posted a review was that the number of reviews was 41 years and the score rating was "3.26 points". There were about 10 customers before me, and about 10 people after me. It was operated by a total of three male and female staff. The kitchen is located in front of the entrance, with counter seats in front of it, two tables for four people on the left, and many tables in the hall on the right. There are apparently 98 seats in total. In the center of the hall on the right, cold water bottles and plates were piled up, and it was self-service. This was taught to me by a continental male staff member. Since I'm a solo customer, I sit at the counter seat right at the entrance. The lunch menu had 7 types including daily specials for 715 yen including consumption tax, and 3 types for 770 yen including tax. Today's daily set meal is ``Sweet and Spicy Chicken Boiled Daikon, 715 yen (tax included)''. However, I couldn't get enough of this daily set meal. I ordered the "Ginger grilled set meal 715 yen (tax included)". Surprisingly, the food was served within 3-4 minutes of waiting. I went to the table in the center of the store to get some cold water, and when I came back and was playing with my smartphone, the food was served. Fried foods such as fried horse mackerel took a long time to be served. When I looked at other customers, I saw someone refilling their rice and miso soup. A customer stood up on his own, carried a bowl to the front of the kitchen, and asked the staff for a refill. If the trip to Takadanobaba Station costs 715 yen including consumption tax and comes with free refills of rice and miso soup, I think it will be popular, especially among young people. For the ginger-yaki set meal, the main dish is ginger-yaki pork, served with shredded cabbage, and mayonnaise. This set included rice, miso soup, mini raw vegetables, pickles, and Small dish of macaroni salad. The mini raw vegetables mainly consisted of shredded cabbage and were drizzled with dressing. It's topped with ginger-grilled shredded cabbage. The ginger-grilled dish had a lot of onions, but since the volume was large to begin with, I was very satisfied with it. The seasoning was not that strong. The miso soup tasted like red soup stock. Is this wrong? That's what I thought, but when I looked at the other customers, there was no commotion. I had a satisfying Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) lunch, but the only drawback was that smoking was allowed throughout the restaurant. Fortunately, there were no people smoking near the counter seats, so there was no problem. Since it's cold near the entrance, I think it's best to choose a table on the right side of the store to avoid the smoke. If you don't like smoking, we recommend choosing a seat near the entrance, even if it's cold. If you don't like that, we recommend you visit a large chain store instead of an independent store. The bill for this day was 715 yen. Thank you for the meal.
