高田馬場駅から徒歩4分ほど、この日はガッツリ行きたい気分だったので、こちらへ。揚げ太郎という店名なので、揚げ物がメインのお店なのかな？と思いきや、かつ丼メインのお店でした！知らなんだ～。ほかにもトルコライスや定食もあり。
さかえ通りの一番奥、平日20時頃、先客1組後客なし。まだオープン間もないのでしょうか、綺麗な店内です。店頭にメニューとタッチパネル式の券売機あり。CCや各種電子マネーも使用可能。お冷はセルフ。スパイシーかつ丼850円をポチッとな。
お店の方はおふたり、仲が良さそう。テーブル席へ。直ぐに調理している音が聞こえて来ます。暫し待って着丼～おお…器とスプーンは同じ黒ですね。いっただっきまーす。トンカツはゆうに1㎝の厚みを超えており、上からソースとマヨネーズがかかっています。
マヨネーズはごくごく細いもので斜線状にかけられており、それほど強くはありません。その下にキャベツの千切り、そして玉子。とじてないタイプ！ですね。揚げたてカツは美味しい。カツは一口サイズにカットされているので、箸を使わなくても食べやすい。
ソースがほんの少しピリ辛。薄切り沢庵が端に添えられています。ご飯もほかほかで良し。全体的に悪くはないのですが～これに汁ものでもあれば嬉しいなぁ。衣は厚くない割にボリュームあり。是非他のメニューも頂いてみたいですね。ご馳走様でしたー！！
