李厨のオーナーが、自分が香港で食べた味を日本で出したいと作ったという店。
オープンしたばかりだが、中国人に人気で予約しないと入れないらしい。
メニューは火鍋と香港っぽい料理で構成されている。
お料理は全般にやや塩気キツめ。
大腸のクオリティが高くて、実はあまり大腸が得意ではない私でも、臭みなく美味しくいただけた。
火鍋の材料の質も、お値段の割に良くて良心的。
ただ、火鍋の鍋底(スープ)はこの値段なら化調なしでがんばってほしいところなのだが、若干、化調さんが。。。
化学の力を借りなくても十分いける味だと思うので、もったいない気がする。
何より残念だったのが、インテリアの香港の地名の看板。
なんと、簡体字。。。
繁体字と広東語は香港人のアイデンティティの一部であって、簡体字=大陸として、抵抗感ある香港人は多い。
ずっと繁体字表記されているのを見てきた地名が簡体字で書かれている気持ち悪さは、日本人の私ですら半端じゃないものが。。。。
