590 yen lunch, tandan knife-cut noodle 1000 yen
Lunch at Takadanobaba. It is located on the south side of the Babaguchi intersection, in a corner of a building lined with restaurants. This used to be Chinese Cuisine, but it seems like it's now a new Chinese Cuisine restaurant. When I entered the store at 1:30pm, there were no customers before me or after me. The inside of the store feels somewhat dim. There seems to be seating on the second floor, but the first floor is small with only one or two tables. The lunch menu probably has three types that change daily, all for 590 yen. On this day, we had stir-fried potatoes and pork, stir-fried Chinese cabbage and pork, and stir-fried radish and chicken. There are also set meals and Noodles on the grand menu. The grand menu costs around 1000 yen, and the lunch menu seems to be particularly cheap. Their specialty is knife-cut noodle, and there are 5 types. From the lunch menu, we had the radish and chicken stir-fry, and the grand menu of knife-cut noodle. Served in less than 10 minutes. ＊＊＊ Stir-fried radish and chicken. The color is brown and there is nothing fancy about it, but the seasoning with oyster sauce is enough to enjoy it. Tandan knife-cut noodle. Relatively uniform wide noodles. The soup has a strong sesame flavor and a good balance of spiciness and sourness, making it delicious. You can enjoy both cheap items and 1000 yen items. (January 2024)

この日のランチには、
鴨の血と白菜炒めというのがありました。
鴨の血は煮込みもしくは鍋でしか
見たことがなかったので
どんなものかと注文しました。
炒め物で使うと、とてもなめらかで
やわらかいレバーという感じになります。
少し酢が入った炒め物に仕上がっていて
美味でした。
