[RIHGA Royal Hotel Tokyo] Bring home the flavors of the hotel.
takeaway shop offers a wide selection of traditional Rihga Royal Hotel flavors, including Sweets handmade in the hotel, which are also suitable as gifts. |
I've had a connection with the Rihga Royal Waseda for some reason. I've been using it in various ways, and I've accumulated a few points on the hotel's app. It was only 500 yen, but it was still 500 yen, so I decided to use it and not waste it. When I headed to this shop, which is right after entering the hotel, there were several customers crowded together! While waiting, I joked, "I wonder if everyone has accumulated points?" and decided to take a walk in Okuma Garden. There is an entrance to the garden next to the "Garden Lounge" in front of the entrance, and you can go straight to the Okuma Auditorium. Young people who seemed to be Waseda University students were reading on the lawn and enjoying a chat. The garden itself is not large, but the sky is wide and it's a nice, quiet place. The autumn leaves look beautiful from here. When I went around and came back, the shop was empty. There were gifts such as baked goods, pre-cooked foods, and jellies. There were also Naito pepper rusks. There were also bologna sausages and hams in the refrigerated case. Honestly, I didn't mind using my points on anything, but when I saw the hotel-made cake... I wanted it lol ☆Prices include tax ● Chestnut Moon - Thirteenth Night - 920 yen As it's the harvest season for chestnuts and beans, the thirteenth night is also known as the Chestnut Moon or Bean Moon. This Mont Blanc cake has an elegant name that is inspired by this. The crispy biscuit underneath is coated in white chocolate, and on top of that is a whole glacé of a large, fresh, skinned, domestic chestnut with a rum aroma! Full of richness! Topped with fresh cream and a generous amount of domestic chestnut paste♡ Just like a mountain. It's about 8.3cm tall!! (My husband measured it) The price is amazing considering how generously domestic chestnuts are used! It's by no means cheap, but I'm impressed by the size of it. The care and effort that went into each and every step is reflected in the taste of this masterpiece. ● Choux Parisienne - 400 yen This one is reasonably priced! The choux pastry is thick and delicious! The cream inside is filled to the brim with only custard with hints of vanilla beans. A little bit of caramel is drizzled on top of the pastry, sprinkled with finely crushed almonds, and powdered sugar. The delicious yellow custard and the crunchy texture of the pastry and nuts are amazing! I definitely want to buy it again. It's only natural that a store with a good skill will make their standard items delicious! I was able to confirm this once again.
