On this day, I went to this Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) in front of the station with my dad. There is a big sign on the side of the building where [a:13220902,Hong Kong Hua Kee Grilled Flavor & Rice Fried Noodles] is located, so if you go in the direction of the arrow on the sign, you will find the entrance to the restaurant. When you enter the restaurant, you can immediately tell that it has been in business for a long time. I'm sure this Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) has been used by Waseda University students for a long time. It's Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) that kind of feel, but at 6pm there were no customers. It seems to have been directly affected by COVID, as there were no customers. First, I ordered a large bottle (400 yen) and oolong tea (250 yen). This Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) favors Kirin, and all draft, bottled, and non-alcoholic drinks are Kirin. The only exception is Waseda local beer (420 yen). After a toast with drinks, the first food we ordered was cold tofu (250 yen), Magoro natto (550 yen), large Croquette (450 yen), and three livers (350 yen). First, we were served cold tofu and tuna natto. While we were nibbling on those, three pieces of liver were served. It wasn't very soft, which is typical of liver, and it had a strong salty taste, but it was cheap at 350 yen for three pieces, so it was within the acceptable range. Before Croquette came out, we ordered fried garlic (450 yen). Then Croquette came. The menu said it was "large", but it wasn't that big. When we split it in the middle with chopsticks, steam rose up from it because it was freshly fried. When we ate it, the potatoes were fluffy♪ It seemed to be homemade, and the frying method was also crispy and very delicious. After the fried garlic came out, we also ordered takoyaki (550 yen). The fried garlic was delicious, with the sweetness of the garlic spreading in our mouths. The last takoyaki was also homemade and fluffy. It was delicious with plenty of bonito flakes on top. I think we drank about four large bottles and three cups of oolong tea? The bill was about 6,000 yen. Cheap! Maybe the price is set for students. But even if you're not a student, it's Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) you'll want to visit again. There were only two groups of customers between the time we entered and the time we left. It's an impossible situation for Izakaya (Japanese-style bar) in front of a station. Please do your best and don't give in to the effects of COVID-19 ☆ Thank you for the meal.
