平日昼前に到着。まさかの開店前だったので10分ほど待ってそのまま入店。私が先頭で、後ろにもう一組。
カウンターに案内され、目に入る手書きメニューがまず可愛い。パンケーキと香咲ブランドを頼んで読書をしていると、マスターと店員さんの会話が聞こえてくる。
マスターは海外の方のようで、喋り方が可愛らしい。聞こえてくる会話も仲の良さが伺えて、癒される。
読書と音楽とカウンター内の会話と他のお客様達の出す雑音に囲まれて待つ事30分。美味しそうなホットケーキが到着。
中身は軽くてフワフワ、外はサクサク。メープルシロップが別に添えてあったので、ケーキ自体の甘さは控えめ。個人的には、これまた添えてあったホイップクリームの甘さとバターで味わうのがオススメでした。
香咲ブレンドは苦味メインに感じました。濃いめの苦味派さんにはピッタリかと。
帰り際に、ホットケーキをお出しするのが遅れてすみませんと、わざわざお声をかけていただきました。いえいえ、こちらとしてはゆっくり雰囲気を味わえたので、癒されました。
