昨年駆け込みでふるさと納税してチケットをもらったので、家族を連れて訪問。ちょうどランチコースが値上がりしたタイミングだったので、3人で行くならラウンジかなってことに。ラウンジは予約できないと書かれていたので、実際問題どれくらい混むのか事前に問い合わせしたところ、周りでのイベント状況によっては並びますとのことで、当日はほぼオープン時間とともにビルのエレベーターに乗り込んだ。
到着すると既に短い行列ができていた。
ラウンジは前に大人数のグループがいて、私たちのグループ3人でその後にいたおひとり様はお待ちいただきますと説明されていて帰られていた。でもラウンジに入ったらひとりなら絶対に十分すぎる空間が空いてるのになんでだろなと思ってしまった。結局2グループしか入れないのかしら。
メニューは悩んだ挙句、アフタヌーンティーに。
ここ数年は価格の高騰が凄まじいのでちょっと久しぶりのアフヌン。
私はとにかくクロテッドクリームをつけるスコーンが好きなのと甘いものはそんなにたくさん食べられないので、セイボリーとのバランスが良かった。セイボリーはちょっとしたフレンチみたいな感じで楽しい。
接客はベテランの人以外は不慣れな印象を受ける感じで、指示出しもお客さんの前でされていたし、レストランに出る前の修行の場なのかなと勝手に思っていた。
