Today I had lunch at "NéMo" in Omotesando! This is a restaurant opened in 2021 by Kenichi Nemoto, who worked at Quintessence for 6 years and was a sous chef. I was looking forward to this restaurant as it had been awarded a Michelin star and I had been interested in it for a long time! Today, I made a reservation for the 6-course lunch menu. Click here for the menu. Only one ingredient is listed on the menu, so I'm excited to see what kind of dishes will be served! 1. Monkeyfish The fried monkfish is crispy and the meat is plump and delicious! 2. Homemade freshly baked bread. Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, this bread is great to eat as is or with sauces for cooking! Of course I ended up refilling it lol 3. Onion soup The richness and flavor of slowly stir-fried onions fills your mouth with the aroma of the soup, which is complemented by the crunchy breadcrumbs and sweet onions. 4. Poiled firefly squid and Joshu green onion. Lightly cooked firefly squid and celery leaves are placed on top of slowly cooked green onions. When you stuff your mouth with all the ingredients, you'll be surprised at how well they go together! 5. Grilled Spanish Mackerel with Whitebait and Wasabi Leaf Sauce The skin is crispy and the center of the body is cooked almost raw, and the whitebait and wasabi leaf sauce is light and easy to eat! 6. Grilled Pork Moist and tender pork that has been pasteurized! The spring vegetables that come with the sauce are also delicious ♡ 7. Chocolate soufflé and kumquat Gelato 8. Canelé The inside of the restaurant is more casual than I expected, more like a cafe, but the staff and sommelier are very friendly, making it a popular French cuisine Restaurants. I was also amazed! I was also happy to drink some rare champagne! The chef apparently catches the fish himself, so it's highly recommended for those who love fish ♡ Thank you for the meal ♪
