高校入学時の自己紹介にて、
「僕はベジタリアンです」と発言したクラスメイトがいたのですが、
卒業まであだ名は『ベジ君』でした。
こちらは2022年8月にOPENした、ヴィーガン＆薬膳の中華料理店。
翡翠色した美しい麻婆豆腐が印象に残り、初ヴィーガンの私は威力偵察～！

場所は、南青山にある岡本太郎記念館のすぐそば、骨董通りに面しています。
最大40人程度との事で、わりと大箱。平日のお昼過ぎに入ると、半分強ほどの埋まり具合。
カウンターがありましたが、テーブル席への案内でした。
タッチパネルにて以下を注文。
■人気№1グリーン麻婆セット
5分少々で注文の品到着。さっそく翡翠色した麻婆豆腐を一口いただくと、
ﾎﾝﾄﾆ (ﾟдﾟ) ｳﾞｨｰｶﾞﾝ!?
味はちゃんとした麻婆豆腐です。
代替え食品にありがちな違和感が無いのにビックリ。
ブラインドテストしたら、こりゃ分からんレベルですね。
唐辛子の辛さはホドホドに、山椒の痺れが爽やかで心地いい。
緑色は野菜のペーストで、挽肉のように見えるものは大豆との事。
豆腐自体も美味しいぞ、おいー！
玄米や薬膳キノコスープは、美味しさというよりは、体に染みる味わい。
最後に配膳された人参茶ですが、これを何かに例えると「土をお湯に溶かした」感じでした (^▽^;)
しかし、ものによってかなりの再限度・美味しさと感じました。
ちなみに、ベジタリアン（人により乳製品や卵は食べる）、ヴィーガン（完全菜食主義者）。
何で動物を食べてはいけないのか、何で他人にまで押し付ける事があるのか、
などと思わなくも無いのですが、味については進化しているなー、と感じました。
もし現在、『ベジ君』のあだ名が『ヴィーガン君』になっていたとしても、
それなりに美味しいものを食べているような気がしました。
