【コメント】
・ガトーショコラでは随一有名な「ケンズカフェ」さん。こちらのガトーショコラは予約待ちで入手困難という状態がデフォルトの圧倒的人気だが、なんと昨年より店舗拡張の方針に舵を切られ、怒涛の新店展開ラッシュ。大人気商品のガトーショコラが各店で通常購入できるという。ということで小生も試しに、一番最近できた新店の青山店に足を運んでみた。
・行列を警戒し、余裕を持って早めに着いたのだが、並びなどは何もなし。おまけに、早く到着された店員さんが「お待たせして済みません、いま開けます」とその場で開店、全く以て有難い柔軟な対応。そして噂のガトーショコラ、予約も何もしていなかったが、本当にその場で購入できた。
・気になるお味、口にするのははや数年ぶりだが、圧倒的過ぎる濃厚さは変わらず健在。試しに実家の家族にも覆面で食べさせてみたが、凄い味と総じて驚きの感想（ネタ晴らしをしてお値段を伝えたら、それにも驚かれたが（笑））。
・ともあれ、ケンズさんのガトーショコラはお値段以外の要素が極めて庶民的になったことを確認、これは何とも有難い。しかも店舗によっては、ガトーショコラ以外に店舗限定のチョコレートスイーツの取り扱いもある模様であり、アツい。今後時間を見つけて各店舗を巡ってみることとしたい。
