選りすぐりの松坂牛を炭火焼で食わせるコダワリの焼肉店。
なんでもオーナーは元々フレンチのシェフだったそうで、その縁で「KIHACHI」の熊谷喜八氏とも昔から親交が深いとか。
その熊谷氏も常連客だそうだ。
お任せで頼むと、どでーんとデカイ大皿に色鮮やかな鴨肉、タン、ミノ、カルビ、ハラミ、ロースをどっさり盛り合わせで。
基本は「塩」。
「いい肉は、やっぱり肉そのものの旨みを味わって欲しいから」とのこと。
もちろん所望すれば、タレも出してくれる。
オーナーの口上通り、肉はやはりどれも文句なくウマイ！
松坂牛は松坂牛でも、当店の牛肉は全て「名前」付。
謂わば血統書付「名家の生娘」みたいなアリガタイ御牛様を召し戴くわけである。
ちなみに当夜の牛は「アキコ」サマ。
なんだかわかんないけど、なるほどアキコの肉は絶ウマどした。
（ちなみに連れが前回来たときは「ハナコ」サマのお肉を戴いたんだそうな）
そしていやはや、なんとゆーか、やはり見事な霜降りのサシで入る脂身がウマイ！
口に含めば先ずねっとりとトロけ、その旨味をしっかり味蕾に残しつつも、次の瞬間には決してベトつかず、むしろ意外なほどさらっと爽やかに口中に広がって、余韻を残しながら消えてゆく。
こんなに美味しい牛肉を食べたのは本当に久し振り。
心底そう思えたほどにウマイ肉だ。
焼肉をひと通り食べた後に戴く当店オリジナルの鍋がまた絶品！
最後はご飯をぶっ込んで豪快に食べる流儀はどこか韓国風だが、「うちはウマイ肉にコダワル焼肉屋だけど、だからといって韓国風焼肉でもなけりゃ韓国料理店でもなく、あくまでうちのオリジナルだからね」と仰る通り、他じゃちょっと食べたことのない独特の美味しさがある。
併せてウレシイのは、さすがそこは元フレンチシェフの店。
ヘタなフレンチ店顔負けのワインが揃う。
以前、某韓国焼肉屋で赤ワインを飲んであまり美味くなかった経験があるのだが、その先入観は、当店で見事に覆された。
ウマイ焼肉には、赤ワインも合うのだ。スバラシイ。
店内の内装や雰囲気は、お世辞にもオシャレで今風とは云えないごくフツウの焼肉屋だが、肉と鍋、そしてワインは間違いなくホンモノである。
焼肉にしてはちと高いが、それでも力強く納得できてしまう内容の佳店だ。
是非とも大勢で訪れたい。
