六本木交差点から芋洗い坂を下ると左手にお店が見えます。美味しい博多串焼きのお店で、店内は木をベースとしたしっとりとした雰囲気。通り側から窓際にのぞき込む形のテラス席で飲んでいる姿もみかけます。
一品料理を含めてメニューはたくさんありますが、お店の特徴は多種多様な串。入口のカウンターにはその日の串の素材が並んでいて入店の際に目星をつけられるほか、串がひと通り木箱に入った状態で席にも持ってきてくれたりします。
コロナ後では初めての訪問。オープンの５時に２人で入店すると、最初の客でした。カウンターの奥に腰かけます。お通し（200円）のキャベツはお代わり自由です。
鶏好きとしてはまず、「とりもも」（250円）、「せせり」（250円）。とりももには、ねぎではなく、玉ねぎが挟まっています。これもいいアクセント。
毎回頼む大好物の「しそ巻き」（280円）は豚肉がとてもジューシー。豚で万能ねぎを巻いた「万能ねぎ」（350円）は脂の旨味とさっぱり感が融合しています。
一品料理で頼んだ「煮込み」（650円）はごく普通の印象。試しに頼んだ「にら玉」（350円）は、にらを豚肉で包み、玉子を添えてあるという意外感のある串でした。毎回定番の「山芋竜田揚げ」（650円）はホクホクで、安定した美味しさ。
こちらは何でも美味しいお店ですが、やはり串が見逃せません。博多の串は組み合わせ方にアイデアがあふれています。
特に肉と野菜を融合したバラエティな串々は、「ひと口の料理」と言っても過言ではありません。このため、数本の串であっても、たくさんの料理を味わえるような楽しさがあります。
