六本木一丁目駅を中心に、
アークヒルズ群、泉ガーデンタワー、
六本木グランドタワー、Tキューブ
と高層ビルが囲む。
六本木グランドタワーは2016年住友不動産が竣工。
旧日本IBM本社ビルや、旧六本木プリンスホテル等の跡地である。
その昔、バブルの頃、
夜吞むとタクシーを捕まえるのが大変な頃があった。
赤坂で仲間で終電が無くなるまで楽しむと、
駅前ではまず捕まらない。
捕まえるために流れ流れてIBM本社前までどろどろに歩いて
何とか捕まえた覚えがある不便な場所。
当時は六本木一丁目駅もなかったし。
今は便利になったが、
この界隈はその中でも人通りが今も少ない少し外れ。
六本木グランドタワー2階にある店。
六本木一丁目駅改札からテレビ東京のある
グランドタワーに入り、
右手端っこにあるエスカで2階に上がり、
少し行って自動ドアの先、奥の右手。
1999年に来日した
スベディ・ディパック氏のお店。
HPを見ると、
インド本国でインド料理とスパイスを学び
とあるからインド人の方か。
インド料理だけでなく、
タイ料理も出し、
都内と横浜に
20店舗前後出すかなりのやり手である。
ひとりだと云うと大テーブルに案内され、
「ダブルカレー&サフランライス」（1,000円）
をお願い。
6種のカレーからチョイスしたのは
サグチキン、キーマエッグ
まだ空いていたが、
カレーが出るまでに8分。
中央にサフランライス、
右側にサグチキン（ほうれん草・鶏）
左側にキーマエッグ（挽肉・ゆで卵）
ライスの上にパクチー。
サフランライスというが
あまり香りが無いのでターメリックかもしれない。
鶏肉はあまり煮込まれておらず、
注文を受けてから炒めたか。
サグもキーマもコクが少ない。
ライスの量が思ったより結構多く、
お腹が膨れる。
サクッと食べて、
レジに行ってPayPayでお支払い。
千円払って御馳走さま。
