麻布十番にある鶏料理居酒屋『がいがい、』をご紹介させていただきます。
黒塗りの壁がいい意味で存在感を消し、隠れ家的な様子を作り上げます。店内はほの暗い雰囲気で、お忍びのデートなどで利用する人も少なくない。著名人のファンも多く、かの志村けんさんも行きつけと公言しておりました。その理由の１つは、深夜５時までという営業時間にあるでしょう。しかも、その時間まで本格的な鶏料理を楽しめる上に、場所のわりにはリーズナブルというおまけまで付いてきます。顔がさしてはいけない彼らにとって、個室があるのも大きな魅力なのでしょう。
鶏肉は、名古屋コーチン、秋田比内地鶏、薩摩若しゃもなどブランドの地鶏を使用。その鮮度に自信もあるのでしょう。鶏刺しも人気メニューの１つとなっております。特にレバーの刺身はお酒のニーズを高めていきます。面白かったのはもも肉のルイベ。凍ったニュアンスが時間と共に変化するので、いろいろな表情を見ることができました。
