今日は綱町三井倶楽部での会合にて、お昼の会に参加。
三菱開東閣とはまた違う趣なのは、こちらが迎賓館として作られ、あちらは岩崎家の別邸として作られたという出自の違いだからだろうか。
日英協会関連の会だったが、お料理はクラシックなフレンチ。
バターたっぷりな魚介とカリフラワークリームの前菜に、平目のポワレ、メインはビーフシチュー。
ホテルでの年齢高めな着席系大規模パーティの場合も、大体平目か舌平目のムニエルと、ビーフのバリエーション（牛ほほ赤ワイン煮とかヒレステーキとか）ですね。変化球が苦手なご年配にも間違いない食材なんでしょうね。
感動はないけど、普通に美味しかったです。
何よりもこの建物ですね。本気のワインメニューも一度見てみたいです。
