友人と「思い切って豪華ランチに行こう！」と計画し、予約を入れました。
こちらは麻布十番でも有名なモダンフレンチがいただけるお店として、2020年食べログアワードブロンズにも選ばれたとのこと。モダンフレンチは普段なかなか馴染みがないジャンルなので、どんなお料理がいただけるかワクワクしながら伺いました。
お店はテーブル席の他、カウンター席も4席ほど。
こじんまりとしていながらも、店員さんの数はじゅうぶんで、目が行き届いているように感じました。

メニューはその日のお任せがフルでいただけるランチコースをチョイス。
「1.梅の枝」はパキポキとした焼き菓子のようなもの。食べたことのない味わいはさることながら、梅の香りのほか、見た目からも季節感の演出が感じられる一品で面白かったです。
今回の白眉は「7.ニュージーランド産 羊」かな。柔らかくも血の味がぎゅっと濃い、肉感あふれるお肉料理でボリュームもじゅうぶん。大変満足感がありました。
魚料理のターンで「6.宮城県産メカジキ、仔牛、オリーブ」という、仔牛肉をメカジキに合わせてきたのも興味深かったな。一緒に食べると味のバランスが取れて、深みが増すというか。あまりない体験ができました。
モダンフレンチ、一見すると不思議な取り合わせにも思えるものが、実はしっかり計算されていて美味しいというのが愉快な体験でした。
