マグロは本鮪、うなぎは地焼き派！関西人でもないのに！なぜか断然地焼き派です。
「毎週木曜は地焼きの日」という情報を食べログで見て、こちらにお邪魔しました。和とフレンチを融合させたコース料理を提供する珍しいお店です。
女性限定のレディースランチがお得そうだったのでそれを事前に予約していきました。レディーで良かった！が、オチは後ほどw
1ドリンクが選べるコースだったので、＋200円のデザートを付け、マリアージュフレールのマルコポーロにしてもらいました。
一品目はスモーク鰻のサラダ。アーモンドスライスも添えられ、さっぱりの中にも香ばしさがあり美味しいです。鰻屋さんでサラダは嬉しいですね。
九谷焼のお皿で、う巻きが登場。卵が甘めの味付けでこちらも美味しいです。う巻きの下からはドラえもんがご登場。ドラえもんが嫌いな人類など世界に存在しません。
コースの鰻は半身とのことだったので、アップチャージして一尾に変更してもらいました。
考えてみれば4,300円でうな重まで付くとしたら安すぎますもんね。自分の胃袋が男性並みであることを失念し、厚かましくもレディースなどと( ˊᵕˋ ;)お恥ずかしい。
はい、うな重とご対面～。砂時計の砂が落ちるまで蒸し、漸くパカッ。あれ？地焼きにしては色が薄い。パクッ。ん？これ、蒸し＋焼きですね。聞けば、鰻によって焼き方は替えているそうで今日は地焼きではないとのこと。ガーンw 私のような地焼き派の方は予約時にお願いすれば良いそうです。
ブランド養殖の値段ではないので当然国産ノーマル養殖でしたが、やはり養殖特有の臭みは感じます。しかしながら脂ノリも程よく、美味しい。ふわっとカリッの両立が楽しめるのはこの調理法の醍醐味です。火入れははっきり言って上手。たれも甘すぎない好みの味。かつ、ご飯に対して、鰻の量が多いのは素晴らしい。バランスとしてはご飯大盛りでも良かったかもしれません。
ただ、共水うなぎには勝てないんだなぁ～…。養殖のクセに敏感につき、面倒くさくてすみません。
デザートはクランブルの上にアイスやヨーグルト、いちごの乗ったプレート。
鰻屋さんで想像するデザートではないのが面白い。ヨーグルトの酸味で味のバランスが良く、オリジナリティーは低いもののきちんと美味しかったです。
鰻は養殖でもブランド、ノーマル、調理法で店によって全く変わるのが魅力ですよね。
こちらは大将のお人柄含めてパリピ寄りな鰻屋さんでしたので、十番界隈のシャンパーニュを飲みがちな住人にお奨め。
