朝からこちらの近くで仕事があり、立ち寄ってみたお店。軽くコーヒーだけ飲むつもりだったけど、メニューを見たらとても美味しそうなブレックファストを提供してる。ということで注文。
シンプルにスクランブルエッグ、ベーコン、パン、サラダといった組み合わせ。よくホテルなんかでもよくあるやつなんだけど、ここ、ひとつひとつのクオリティがむっちゃ高い。
まず驚いたのがパンの美味しさ。なんてことない普通のパンなんだけど、噛めば噛むほど美味しい。小麦の美味しさをしっかり感じられる。全粒粉だろうか。ベーコンとスクランブルエッグに惹かれて注文したのに、いい意味で驚いた。
スクランブルエッグはまさに好みの熱の入り方。絶妙な火入れでトロトロ食感。バターの品質もいいのか、本当に香ばしく食べられる。ケチャップもソースも何もいらない美味しさ。
ただ、このベーコンに乗せて食べると美味しさ100倍。キレイにグリルされてるのだけど、これ、お肉自体がすごく美味しい。もちろん燻製の香ばしさはあるのだけど、質の良さが先に感じられる美味しさ。
本当にパーフェクトなプレートで大満足だった。
ちなみにコーヒーももちろん美味しいのだけど、それより食事の感動が軽く勝ってしまい、あまり記憶にない。カフェなのに予約ができたり、休日にゆっくり過ごしたりするのにはいいかもしれない。ワンコも同伴可能なカフェのようで、店内には可愛らしい犬たちも。
なんだか心まで癒されるカフェでした♪
