”西麻布の小さなパン屋” 「パネッテリア カワムラ」。ここは以前「ダノイ」というイタリアンレストランでしたが2011年にそのレストランが日本橋へ移転したため、その跡地に元々イタリアンのシェフだったカワムラさんとその奥様がパン屋さんを引き継ぎ現在に至ります。というのもダノイ時代もレストランは2階で1階はパネッテリアダノイというレストラン併設のパン屋さんだったそうです。お店は2畳あるかないかの小さなスペースで店内に2人いたらもういっぱい。3人目のお客さんは店外で待機していないと入れません。お店はスロースタートの開店時間となっており、月曜休み、火曜〜土曜14:30-21:00、日祝日16:00-21:00。

開店時間に訪問しましたが、全商品が販売されているわけではありません。ご夫婦お二人だけでパン作りから接客までこなしているので焼きあがったものから順次陳列していくという方針のようです。商品が売り切れたら閉店です。元イタリアンのシェフということで、アンチョビオリーブやフォカッチャといったイタリアンテイストのパンも豊富ですが、定番の食パンなど陳列されています。エピは黒胡椒のアクセントが素晴らしく、ゴルゴンゾーラチーズと蜂蜜を合わせるところもシェフのセンスを感じます。ご馳走さま
